By using ChainView, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using our platform.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ChainView platform ("Service"), operated by ChainView, a product of the Aelion Group. References to "you" or "user" mean the individual or entity accessing the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using ChainView, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ChainView is a read-only DeFi portfolio analytics platform that allows users to:

Track public blockchain wallet addresses and their associated token balances
View DeFi protocol positions, yields, and historical performance
Analyze portfolio allocation across multiple blockchain networks
Receive alerts and notifications about portfolio changes

ChainView does not: execute transactions, hold custody of assets, request private keys, or provide financial advice.

3. Not Financial Advice

⚠️ All information provided by ChainView is for informational and analytical purposes only. Nothing on ChainView constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. Past performance shown is not indicative of future results. Always conduct your own research and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

4. Account Responsibilities

When you create a ChainView account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and current information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account
Not share your account with others
Take responsibility for all activity under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ChainView to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the platform
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the platform
Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Impersonate other users or entities
Interfere with the security or integrity of our systems

6. Blockchain Data Accuracy

ChainView retrieves on-chain data from public blockchain networks via third-party APIs. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all data is complete, error-free, or up-to-date. Blockchain data may be delayed, and displayed values should not be relied upon for time-sensitive financial decisions.

7. Subscription and Billing

ChainView offers free and paid (Pro) subscription tiers. For paid plans:

Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically
You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks associated with ChainView are the property of ChainView / Aelion Group. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without prior written consent. You retain ownership of the wallet addresses and data you provide to us.

9. Privacy

Your use of ChainView is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChainView and the Aelion Group shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of funds, assets, or investment opportunities
Data loss or service interruptions
Actions taken based on information displayed on the platform

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChainView, Aelion Group, and their officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspicious activity, or at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not relieve you of any obligations incurred prior to termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
